Standing Committee on Investments in the Energy Sector
The Minister for Energy has appointed a Standing Committee on Investments in the Energy Sector to advise him on investment projects proposed by the private sector. The committee will consist of the following people, appointed for a period of two years:

Task Force on Sustainable Tourism Development for the Maasai Mara and Amboseli Ecosystems
The Minister for Tourism has appointed the following people to the Task Force on Sustainable Tourism Development for the Maasai Mara and Amboseli Ecosystems:
Ali Kaka, Regional Director of IUCN, Eastern and Southern Africa (chairperson), PS, Ministry of Tourism, PS, Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources, nominee of the PS, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Local Government, Stephen Manegene, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), Lucy Karume, Chairperson of the Kenya Tourism Federation, Hellen Gichohi, President of the Africa Wildlife Foundation, Director of Physical Planning, Ministry of Lands.
Appointments to General Wages Council
The Minister of Labour has appointed David Onyango, Jacqueline Mugo, and Maureen Onyango as members of the General Wages Council for a period of three years.
Collection of Trade Union Dues
The Minister of Labour orders every employer who employs five or more members of the Tailors and Textile Workers Union to deduct monthly 2.5% of the basic salary as trade union dues from the wages of his or her employees who are members of that trade union, and pay the total sums deducted to the Tailors and Textile Workers Union within ten days.
