In this issue: Appointments, revocation of forex bureau license, liquidator for GTV, and creditor meeting for the winding up of Funguo Corporate Services.
Appointments Under the State Corporations Act, the Minister for Information and Communications appoints Denis Kuko Chebitwey as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Year Book Board for a period of three years, from 8 April 2009.
Under the Anti Corruption and Economic Crimes Act, the Chief Justice appoints Lucy Nyambura, Principal Magistrate, as a special magistrate to preside over cases involving corruption and economic crimes in respect of Nairobi, with effect from 1 May 2009.
Revocation of Forex Bureau License The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has revoked the license of Hill Forex Bureau Limited with effect from 7 April 2009.
Liquidator for GTV Limited Appointed P.K. Mureithi & Company, advocates for the liquidator, announce that James Wachira had been appointed as liquidator for the winding up of the company at the first meeting of creditors of GTV Limited held at he Kenya Institute of Education Conference Hall on 6 April 2009.
Funguo Corporate Services Creditor Meeting Funguo Corporate Services creditors will meet at Uchumi House on 20 May 2009 at 10am to consider an extraordinary resolution for winding up passed by the company, Consider a statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of creditors of the company and their estimated claims, and to nominate a liquidator for the winding up of the company.
